My thoughts are with you and anyone else who has to live with this burden of being involved in a tragic accident. I cant even begin to imagine the burden you must carry and the courage it took to get back behind the wheel.

The one worst memory I have is when a car in front of me stopped out of nowhere for a GREEN light for no reason in the right lane. I am one for watching for stale lights and this one had just gone green not long before we entered the intersection. I had good following distance just did not anticipate this and had to go to the left lane to avoid an accident thankfully the lane was empty or it might of been bad.

That was many years ago but made me so much more conscious of that kind of stuff. I think there is stuff we learn daily out here and we all have room for improvement.

It does not matter who we drive for what name is on the door I think we all have good intentions when it comes to safety.

Walmart and a mediocre hollyweird celebrity. The best 2 evils to make the MSM. Tracy morgan will be dead before the civil suite ever happens anyway.

The so called "safe following distance" historically applied to cars as well, but in the early 1980's we came upon two changes, a building boom and our industry going overseas which resulted in too many cars and trucks on our highways making the "safe following distance" almost if not impossible to meet.

Just like any other carrier, Had my share of petty problems with wally world drivers, I won't throw them under the tandems and dogpile the situation. Brain farts always happen and sometimes people get injured or killed. No matter how good a vetting process is. Us humans have brain farts and accidents happen.

I feel dirty responding to this.

So you're name calling me? You're the perfect example of how easy it is to get a Class A license in this country. I'll give you free advice, get your head out of third grade and maybe someday you'll get a job that will get you home and actually pays the bills.

I've spent nineteen years driving trucks in and out of SoCal traffic and you don't think I know what I"m talking about? Nobody is being superior here. I said what I said because I know full well it could happen to me. It could happen the first thing tomorrow. And more importantly, I know how it could happen.

It is probably that clear cut, but the bus may have jumped into the trucks lane of travel as well.
