And these promoters never have rogue employee hopped up on something? Can't place the blame entirely on the driver of big truck.

I have the option of going back to a desk job. So if I get rear ended out here you would say had I been at my desk job instead of driving a truck I could have prevented the accident and this partly responsible? That's crazy.

Are you serious? If the van was slowing down for construction, which by the way would mean the driver was in the right, and was slammed into by the truck, I'm having a hard time finding blame with anyone but the truck driver.

By the way, the promoters hire the limo company. They aren't the employees of the promoter. Because of what my company does now, I have a little insight on this stuff. C'mon Shaggy.

So in your sense of standing up for your fellow truckers, you're going to blame this on the victim? It's his fault for not taking an airplane? Funny stuff guys.

And now the news is talking about how the Senate wanted to "weaken" HOS rules: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/06/08/truck-safety_n_5468742.html

Disc brakes would have lessened the severity of the accident -- if not prevent it altogether. I'm not taking any blame away from the driver -- there is no excuse for running into slowed traffic.

I suspect you are right, but I'm sure Kraft drivers felt the same way...
