I've seen several threads that talk about specific items, but none that bring it all together. Please make a list of comfort items that will make life OTR easier for new drivers.

Besides DVD's is anyone using anything that gives them live TV ?

Window screens (tall and short ones- at night, we use the short screens, it's safer) a good 12v box fan, porta potty so we don't have to use restrooms that are NASTY and a laptop so we can goof off.

Vaseline or baby oil...:biggrin_2559: (sorry, couldn't resist) Seriously, personally I'd be lost w/o satellite radio, and I'm only local!

Yeah AT, I had just a regular antennae and you can actually pick up quite a bit. Especially in CA. Like you said though you rarely have time to watch your programs everyday. It is nice though when you get shutdown for weather or something like that. For you high dollar truckers they have satellites that are mobile. Probably around $600. Plus your monthly fee. You can go the cheap route to and put the old dish in the pvc hanging off the mirror! Ghetto but works!

If qualcomm was smart they should find a way to beam that signal through their dish. Then could charge companies for the qualcomm and drivers for satellite tv.

That would be a smart way to make money, get tied into DISH or Direct TV some how

Yeah, and they can put some games on there too. I think at one point there was a poker game on the qualcomm and I know you can send emails on there.
