oic,ya you have to be approved to have ivnverter and even then some companies require you have their shop install it.

the one you want is the V30 and if you can find one under 1,100 let me know... the one thats 350. is the tallgater a stripdown v10 "you must program in the sat's each time you stop" v20 "auto find the sat's each time you stop" v30 in-motion "works when the truck is moving"

Yeah, I knew it was too cheap for the in-motion feature. It was normally $500, $150 off is quite a lot. I'm not sure if they all have the same promotions though. That was at the one in Peru, IL. One of my favorite stops though.

Edit: Looking at the website, it's the V10 on sale, not the tailgater.

when i ran OTR, i changed the sorry mattress pad out for a real twin bed mattress. man that made a huge difference in how i slept. i was in a volvo and i removed the cabinet behind the driver seat and put in a 3 cubic foot dorm fridge/freezer. i ran it off a cobra 875w inverter that was more than enough for the fridge. i also had a 400w inverter to run the TV and PS3 and my digital tv tuner. worked out great.

Do you have a condo cab, or a cab with a top bunk? I'm about to go to the hardware store and buy me some lumber to make me a shelf. All I'll need is 2 2x4's and a chunk of plywood for some added storage. :)

...until you hit the brakes! Better make sure you think of a way to keep the things you place upon that shelf up on that shelf....or else ONLY keep soft items (clothes, blankets, etc.) that you wouldn't mind having fly at your head in a panic stop situation up there.
