If something's seized in your generator, that could be the problem. Does yours use a black v-belt for the generator, or that red sectioned belt?

Maybe just a different supplier of that part? Can you snap a photo of that area of the APU? There's two different generator options, with different outputs (though I don't remember exactly what they are offhand). The lower output generator is a hell of a lot easier to deal with when it comes to replacement. Anyhow, you should be getting ~120 volts out of your generator.. if you look by where the circuit breaker is, you'll see two red caps covering terminals, and that's where you check your generator power output. I'd offer to snap a photo for you tomorrow, but the shop where I worked that had trucks with those units just went through a campaign to get rid of all of their part-timers, so I don't have access anymore.

From your control unit, press the menu button until the display shows battery monitor. Press the menu button again. Then using either arrow, press it until the display shows OFF, then press the menu button.

I know this is an old thread just wondering what shop fixed your generator, we have several bad ones and haven't found anyone to successfully fix one yet.

What symptoms are you seeing? Like hearing grinding or feeling resistance when trying to spin the generator pulley? Or we talking not getting the desired voltage due to possible wiring or capacitor issue

We are not getting 120v, tried swapping capacitors. Theses things are getting old. Had a few local shops put bearings in but they stopped making power, one made a trip , I dont remember how long the other worked. We shipped a few to CA , one only made a few trips and we had to send it back. I have an extra new one now which I will be using shortly and I will have another on the floor that doesn't make power (total of 3 or 4). If you know someone that can successfully repair these it would be helpful.
