"Comfort Zones" and Other Questions?

Not trying to talk bad bout any company but "solo can be lean" "after that bring home $500"

$500 is LEAN! I BRING HOME AT LEAST $850 AND HAS BEEN AS MUCH AS $1175..THAT IS BRING HOME and Health insurance is only $70/month for a GOOD PPO PLAN....

IF INTERESTED LET ME KNOW SOMEHOW....Won't and never will ransom knowledge for money so would be nice if I received the "Referal" bonus, but company's J.B.S. out of Greeley, CO.......

i'm back out here otr cause of the economy too brother have a baby on the way but wouldn't be good if i couldn't support him and my girl so here i sit in a t-700 in sparta, wi over 1000 miles from home

YES, I'M A DRIVER WITH J.B.S. I bring home on a slow week $850 after taxes and deductions. J.B.S. pays biweekly so my bank shows $1700 deposited on a slow pay period.

Been driving for 12years and been there done that and would never go to SWIFT but that is my professional opinion.

Don't any swift drivers start sending me hate mail, just saying its ok for NEWBIES but after you learn a few things you'll see what I'm talking about....

If J.B.S. will hire you you will be with one of the best companies out there....the only haters at J.B.S. are the drivers who don't have good work ethics, don't understand trucking, or who are simply non professional....other then that, I have nothing but good things to say about J.B.S. THEY TREAT YOU WITH RESPECT.

 

I run out of green bay so i make a little more then otr but get a little less miles. Green bay is for mid west regional....we have a plant in plainwell, mi

 

J.B.S. offers a referal bonus of $1000. If you wanted to come to work for them and if they would hire you then if you state that I refered you and you'd need my name and truck number, then once you were hired I'd get $1000.

Problem is most won't talk to you or give you info on a great company without first assuring that you will use their name so they get the money. I'm not like that and will give you or anyone all the info you want trying to help you and them succeed in this industry without demanding you use me as a reference.

I have never gotten the referal bonus because J.B.S. either wouldn't hire them or they never used me as their reference after I took the time to answer all their questions honestly.

ALL RECRUITERS LIE as they are in the business of fill seats left by a company's high turnover rate. J.B.S. has a much lower turnover and most of those are drivers who can not and never will be pleased.

 

Just to throw in my 2 cents about swift and GLR. I worked for swift for 4 months. GLR right off the bat. 34 cents a mile and weekends at home or at least a 34 at home. It worked for me and my family and 3 small children. They worked me hard and always made at least 500 bucks except for 3 weeks when broke down. My advice for you would be call arount to grain companys in your area. They are always looking for experienced drivers. I get paid hourly and am home at least 3 days a week. Usually weekends off averaging 62 hours a week. A lot of hours but worth being home. It is easier for them to find work for 18 drivers then trying to fight 15000 for work. You are in a good spot in MI though. Always something going to the terminal to goto canada to get you home. Swift worked for me and my family and had this job not fallen into my lap I would still be driving for swift. Wouldn't trade being home for my kids and my wife for anything.
