LoL..Id work for J.B.S AND use you as a reference so you get the $$$, Plainwell is pretty close to me about 45 minutes or less, but I dont think I meet thier qualifications yet, I did get an email today from a local company called modular, which is a flat bed steel hauler, the guy would like to meet with me, I know a driver from there and also a dispatcher, and so I hope that will work out, they are home almost every weekend. also got accepted for USA truck, but Id have to go back to C1 and all that, and I really dont think I want to sell my soul to USA for a year, C1 is a good school, I just dont like the whole endentured servitude aspect of it..LoL

If the steel hauler thing doesn't work out, give J.B.S. a call. They may say YES, you never know unless you ask

Swifties don't get a referral bonus. Must be a reason JBS is paying drivers to refer people. Prime does the same thing.
The difference is 12 years' experience vs. no experience with last use of Class A 10 years ago. You can't possibly think this guy is going to walk in on $850/week.
I have a friend who worked for JBS until just before DOT crashed down on them. I won't repeat here what he has to say about it. That's not to say things haven't changed since then. But I know for a fact he was a hard runner and didn't take much home time. He wasn't treated so respectfully.
Swift is not the be all and end all. There are higher paying companies out there and there is nearly always a trade off. But I will caution the O/P to do thorough research before signing on with any company. Including Swift.
Keep in mind, no matter how much sunshine someone who is paid to get your butt into orientation blows up your kiester, every single company out there, even JBS and Swift, has its own brand of BS. You have to decide which flavor is most palatable to you. -
The thing about Swift is because they are the biggest trucking Co.in the US,they have lots of freight. My son got regional dedicated right after training;he's home every week for his 34 hr reset. He's paid 44cpm empty or loaded. He trained with a 10 year veteran driver on 48 states so he wasn't home for 8 weeks, but they gave him exactly what he asked for.Maybe he lucked out because we live in a busy area for freight; NYC/newark ,port elizabeth.

is he on a SLIDING pay scale
-
-
okay because the HH div out the PacNW is on the sliding scale
-
Ask the recruiter about getting on the glr account in that area, the pay a flat rete per week, u get extra for stop, drop and hook etc, the pay is almost 3x 300 per week, u home every couple days long as u can make it back that night, your loads pu in the mornings but some time traffic catch you comming back so you run out of hours.
P.s. Someone say go work for a small company, you decide who u want to work for the small company not for everybody the big company not for everybody, what ever is good for you and ur family that's what you do. -
That p&g account is good also.
You can get home every night or every other night running for swift. I just finish training a student out of lancaster terminal and he is on an account where he gets home every night -
Cool I am still looking at Swift and Prime but leaning towards SWIFT
