For everyone else if you thinking about leaving a company make sure you get the other job and its gaurantee before you go spreading it around. You never know who is reading these blogs, just because you have a fictitious user name don't mean someone can't find out who you are. The device you are using computer, ipad, smart phone etc all have an ip address. -
Swift knows durned well who I am.
Nothing bad has happened to me yet, despite some egg I've thrown at the corporate face on occasion. It's not what you say, it's how you say it.
We have had drivers post they are looking for something else. Nothing bad happened to them. For the most part, they don't have time to follow one driver out of 16,000 unless their attention is drawn to a statement specifically.
Sometimes, our gripes here have made it to the right ear and positive changes were made. So it's not all detrimental when they learn of something being said. -
No, I dont work for swift yet, I was /am planning on going to training and working for swift if I dont get this local gig..Still waiting to hear, if I dont hear anything by the middle of the week, Im going to give the swift recruiter the go ahead to sign me up for training.

Well, Looks like Im going with swift, the local deal fell through, so I talked to the recruiter Kris and she set me up with the online training, which was pretty easy I did it this afternoon, Now just have to pick a date for starting and commit..tell the truth Im scared to death ..can anyone ease my anxiety and tell me that Im making a good decision..lol.
-
I glad I went with Swift. Both times.
BigBusMan Thanks this. -
Im going to try really hard to just have positive thoughts and go with the motto of "just do my job, and do it right"..and hope everything goes OK..=} But switching jobs in these times is still nerve wracking, even though my current job is grossly inadequate and no longer meets my needs, again this week hours cut down to 27 hours a week...which means after taxs and insurance my paychecks will be about 150 bucks every 2 weeks...which is sad after putting in almost 10 years at the place having to leave cause they cant pay..guess thats the price I pay for being a state employee with the fascist Snyder running the show here...but ill leave the political rant for the politics thread..Thanks Injun..just knowing that there are drivers doing well and dont regret it makes me feel better..=} ..Btw do you know if a guy can request a female mentor, I have always worked better and taken instruction better from females than men.

I'm happy with Swift too. In my opinion, Swift is a decent trucking company. Work hard and don't whine and you should do well.
BigBusMan Thanks this.
