I have received the confirmation from my recruiter in email today: Orientation has been set for January 31, 2012.
I must say, my wife and I are both VERY excited about this new opportunity in our lives. We're both looking forward to getting out travelling across the U.S and Canada.
I'll keep track on here while I am preparing and if you got any advice for a new person like me, please let me know. Look forward to driving the roads with you all!

Welcome to prime WVUfan. from KY
-
get your permit if you need it. and congrates your going to love prime
-
Get your permit before you leave home, pack light, bring all required documents, ask questions, listen, pay attention....don't hit anything with the truck or trailer....don't try to recreate scenes from Smokey and the Bandit" lol all I got so far. Congratulations!! N good luck
-
A few things that I saw people have problems with: Bring all required paper work, original copies. If you have anything in your pass, no matter how petty disclose it before they find it. Check your blood pressure before you go. And the most important thing do not study for the pee test!!!!!!!! LOL
Good luck and have a good time -
Now that oxymoron right there is funny! OFFICIAL copies. It's not rocket science, honest! If you find you are missing something, have someone at home ready (and WILLING) to go hunting down the stuff and fax it to you.McBjork Thanks this.

LOL Substitute original copies with either official or original document. Aka government issued un-laminated embossed raised seal etc
-
I have my birth certificate, Social Security card (all un-laminated and original), standard licenses and I'm studying hard for the exam. Going to see how much it would cost me to get a new copy of my passport (can't locate my original from my last move) as well.
I'm also looking into possible broadband cards for a laptop (or a laptop with 3G/4G coverage.) Anyone got any ideas? -
Hope your studying for the permit test n not the other lol
Verizon seems to have the best service. I have it and rarely am without service. Not perfect, bit netters than most -
Verizon has better network coverage than their competitors. That's the key thing. It doesn't matter how many "free minutes," how fast they claim their 4G net is, if there isn't coverage - its all worth squat. And we go to some darn podunk places.
