I made the through the physical and agility today. Not quite as bad as I thought. But it was still tough. Just gotta finish the rest of the week and I am out with a trainer. the agility was thorough. The lifting part isn't really too bad. I am 61 and got through it fine. Now we have presentations and videos for the rest of the day.
No, not necessarily a difficult trainer... I was referring to FLATBEDDING as the harder part yet to come.
I'm waiting too for a spot in Temperature control. Wondering how long you had to wait to get to go to orientation. I applied in the last part of January and they say 2 fellows are still ahead of me ?. Not sure how much longer i can afford to wait?. If you get a chance keep posting although i know it will probably be difficult when with the trainer. Not much on here about they're TCD. Good luck to you and be safe.
I actually applied in Dec but I moved from Ar to Pa so that slowed me down. When I was ready it took about four weeks to get my invite. I almost gave up but I am really glad I didn't . Maverick is one of the best companies you can work for. The orientation is tough. We started with 32 and 23 got a job offer. Some failed physicals and some had to get Dr release and some quit because they didn't want the routes and time out offered. Overall this has been a very good experience. I very glad I waited. I am in TCD training today and out with a road instructor tomorrow I hope. good luck ang in there. It is worth the wait!
