    Hey everyone,

    I wanna know what are different jobs do some of you use your CDL for (other then 18 wheels OTR), post and explain why you choose to do what your doing.

    Actually depends on what Endorsements you have. If you have the tanker and hazmat endorsements you can deliver propane,gas and diesel. Deliver RV's. Pretty much anything that a Class A CDL covers. If you have the Passenger Endorsement you can drive for a charter bus company,Greyhound Bus Lines, or the local transit bus system.

    You need a clas a to be a lineman, thinking of saving up and going to lineman school. And as others mentioned firefighter etc....

    I'm currently working part time for a RV dealer, who enticed me to come on board because I have a class "A" CDL and apparently he has problems finding drivers other than class "C".
