Are my empty miles still good if I drive to the pick up and get dispatched tomorrow? My fuel is good to get me through the day and I can worry about that tomorrow. No one is in the office to dispatch me and I need to get to get closer to this pick up.
Committed to a load, but wasn’t dispatched…

So, you're saying bossman said he had a load for you in Possum Breadth, Ar. (just an example) and he will dispatch you the PU info, but hasen't as yet, and you want to know if you should venture that way ? Well, this is trucking and things change, or not. You will feel a little goofy if you head that way, and bossman gives you a different dispatch, which was 10 mi from where you're sitting right now.
tscottme, Big Road Skateboard and buddyd157 Thank this. -
Honestly, as I read this, I get the feeling you're trying to get some miles on this paycheck. Problem is, if you didn't have a firm dispatch, you might be screwing yourself.
Good luck.
