Finally some good news. Just started taking Metformin. A1C was 7.1. It looks like my blood sugars staying around 105. Physical is due in January. I already have to pass a stress test on the 21st. required every 2 years since getting a stent. Last time, it was inconclusive, had to wait 2 mos to get a heart cath done. Lost some revenue waiting for that. It’s starting to get tricky. More hoops to jump through. Hopefully I won’t be looking for a new line of work soon. One things for sure, if so, I’ll be healthier. I went years without any health problems. Now suddenly I’m in “the system” it seems. I don’t like it, but I guess it beats the alternative. The DOT physical is a double edged sword in a way. Fear of failing it, deters early treatment. I’ve seen it many times. Drivers avoid Doctors and their diagnoses. I’m guilty of it myself. No news is good news. Don’t worry till it happens. Oh well, that’s life.
