Every company I worked for paid for my DOT Medical when I worked for them. A few companies I worked for accepted my current DOT card if it had time left before it expired.

***we also have home daily routes at these location*** The pay range for these positions is: $60,000 - $85,000 depending on the route. -
I've worked for a couple places that I had to front the cost and got reimbursed.
They were both small, family owned outfits, though. -
Pre-11/29 BP averages out of this world... My Progress:
1. 11/29/22 = 150/106
2. 11/30/22 = 140/101
3. 12/01/22 = 152/99
4. 12/02/22 = 143/92
5. 12/05/22= 134/100
6. 12/06/22 = 124/82
7. 12/07/22 = 125/88
8. 12/08/22 = 126/88
I went ahead and applied to three jobs today.
1. Co-Alliance Propane Service tech (CDL A required) - $76k avg
2. Co-Alliance Fuel Delivery Driver (CDL A/B required) - $50k to 76k avg
3. Midwest Logistics Systems (CDL A required) - They called me right away but working 4pm to 2am doesn't sound too delightful.... but perhaps get my foot in the door and a year later look else where? I applied here just because New Castle is ten minutes away from me.Eddiec Thanks this. -
2. I've been doing fuel delivery now, for about a year and a half. To be totally honest--I can't in good conscience recommend it for someone just out of CDL school. Why? Mistakes with fuel tend to be either....(a) VER-RY expensive; (b) VER-RY dangerous...or (c) Both. Fuel delivery can thus be a very unforgiving world. If you are interested in tanker duty--go for food-grade work, first....and get some real experience there (at least a year--two is much more marketable, though). Examples: Indian River Transport, or maybe Carry Transit. Both of those hire new CDL grads.
3. 4 pm to 2 am is a pretty typical work shift schedule, for someone just starting out in fuel delivery (been there, still doing that ). Yes--that is MUCH tougher--if you are married, and have children (I get it).
