What about deliveries that are a mile or two east of the 15?

Morehouse has 2 or 3 loads a day that depart Columbus Nebraska going to long Beach cal , they also go Seattle out of there too.
Then it's produce to Chicago and beer back to omaha .
They also have a run from four oaks nc to long Beach too but I don't know how often it moves .

Yeah, good reputation for long coast-to-coast runs.

Thanks for the topic. Which ones would you say have the highest percentage of runs out west? My first otr company was mostly regional, but did a little of everywhere, but they only went about 10% of the time west of the rockies. I would say that does not count for your list.

Some of those companies have western 11 regional options.

I see IWX a lot on I-40 and I-90 out west. Considering they’re *relatively* small, they must go out there pretty often.

Any mega carrier could probably keep a driver out west. They have such large freight networks that an experienced driver could probably just pick where they want to run, to an extent.

3500 @ .54/mile is better than 2200 @ .75/mile. Drivers spend too much time looking at the CPM and not enough time looking at the actual take-home. If the benefits are cheaper at company A and the drivers run more miles at company A, but company B pays 21 cpm more, they run to company B every time and wonder why they aren't making any money.
