Look into fuel hauling. Many will run a weekend shift.

Any fuel hauler will love you. Weekends are the hardest days to cover for the week.

 

Just remember if you have another job, all your hours worked from that job applies to your HOS.

 

Some mail contractors have weekend only schedules also.

 

CL gig jobs are 1099. Avoid them. There are local options for part time drivers but they're not the norm.

Checking your local classifieds often and calling places you might want to drive for directly can yield positive results.

Temp/staffing companies for drivers and yard drivers are very common for flexible scheduling as well.

 

My nephew does that. Works his full time job M-F then hauls mail on the weekends.

 

I don't know the answer to that.
