what all do they do during there physical testing far as I know I seem to be very healthy with the exception of being about 50 lbs over weight I workout 4 days a week walk 2.5 miles on days I don't workout and the weather permits I don't see how I could fail the physical part of it but I heard they give u a bunch of test on the computer I could see maybe failing 1 or 2 of those but not all of them if u do fail there physical will they pay your way back home or if u drove your own car there reimburse you the amount of a bus ticket and still pay for your time there p.s sorry for all the questions but for some reason I got my heart set on driving for maverick

TransAm out of Olathe, Kansas does the background checks before they invite you to orientation. Once at orientation, all you have to do is pass the drug test.

I made great money in my previous career of almost 26 years. Money of which most in trucking will never even come close. However, I long tired of the stress, responsibility for a staff, correcting others' mistakes and the burnout of white collar, corporate America. I helped pay for college by driving a little flatbed in the '80s. When I was toward the end of my proverbial rope in my last career the wife suggested I go back to driving since I liked it so much when we were "kids." Well, long story short, things changed since then, some for the better, some for the worse but all in all, I haven't been this content in many years. I should have left the desk job years before I did. Making much less but the soul is much more healthier.

Why would you be wearing shorts for them to see it? Think man, think.

Well yea but in the post you mention the scar and a recruiter and it sounds like you were referring to the recruiter. Even a doctor can't make you reveal health issues that occurred a lifetime ago and have no relevance on your current health or relation to your qualifications for a job. It's called the HIPAA Act.
