I believe you can appeal items on your PSP or at least make a statement explaining what happened. I'd check into that.

Yes the dataq process, totally ridiculous, thank god I screenshot my psp because it asks you for all the codes. I sent one in last week, got a call about 36 hours later, and he said the only person that can get rid of it is the DOT officer that wrote it, not FMCSA. makes absolutely no sense. he also said it shouldn't have any effect on me getting hired. I'm like you know how many screenings we go through? like 7? MVR, PSP, DOT drug test, work history, background, some do credit, some don't. This is ridiculous, and all to get paid ########, and stay away from home for weeks.

I've worked for a couple smaller companies non which have ran a DAC report on me but all have ran a PSP report on me.

The PSP is only $10.00 and you or the company can get it instantly with the click of a mouse on the computer.

    Good luck dude

I read one time that your psp report only shows last five years of crash reports and 3 years of inspections. Not sure if that includes tickets.

The PSP report is your CSA. It only matters for 2 years to the companies. In 3 years it'll be gone.

Don't know about the crash reports though.

Where's that guy at that worked for JB HUNT when the bridge collapsed on him. I'd like to know how he's doing these days and what his psp says.

ATS said I would be reads to rock in a couple months, so I really hope that's true. It's absolutely killing me trying to find work. Only got until May, so basically another crap job for 10 months. But at least then I'll have just shy of two years. If not I gotta suck it up for 22 more months. Fun times

    Chinatown Thanks this.

Hate to bump this to the top again, but would a company such as asplundh run a PSP? They're not a carrier, so I don't think so, but I'm wondering. Got a job offer from them and now I'm all giddy lol
