I called their recruiting department and the phone rang and rang.
No one answered.

Any other ideas? -
Some companies won't hire California drivers/drivers with California cdl.
Anyway; look at these:

The thing is, I don't have any attachment to California. In fact I want to move. One reason I want to do OTR is to use that as a way of moving to a different state.
I can take my days off or my resets in a new place, rent a hotel room, and then scout out rooms for rent in the local Craigslist.
Maybe move to a centrally located state like Iowa or Arkansas and then with experience and a clean MVR, I should have a plethora of job opportunities. -
I understand; I moved to Nevada from the east coast; Tennessee. Consider a state with no personal income taxes, such as Texas, Florida, Nevada, Tennessee. Being an OTR driver gave me the opportunity to run all 48 states and find a place to relocate to.
Celadon hires all over, so if you moved to another state, wouldn't have to change jobs. Celadon has reefers and dry vans. Real decent pay scale also.
