What part of MS are you in and what school you looking at? I'm in north MS and can help you out. Also how much hometime are you looking for?

I thought i remember reading something about that. With a clean driving record and a license of 1 year with a clean criminal background and good employment history do you guys think i stand a chance with maverick or prime. There my top two but kllm is a close third

I don't see why Maverick wouldn't hire you. I know Prime has denied people for odd reasons. If you choose KLLM for some reason, DON'T LEASE

There's a couple dozen companies that will hire you. Are you 21?

I understand the don't lease part ive been talking to a driver with them and he told me he'd help me out. And Chinatown i am 21, im noticing between the lack of a cdl, the lack of a 3 year driving record that my options are fairly limited

    milehunter43 Thanks this.

Right now I've done maverick, kllm and prime. Millis isn't hiring out of Mississippi and tmc and abilene require a 23 age limit. Im to the point i may just pay $320 to tdi and have them train me

Go talk to the community college. State of MS has a grant to get your CDL. I went to Itawamba Community College in Tupelo. Paid 200 out of pocket for my CDL. I went to work for Watkins Shepard in Myrtle, MS out of school. Been there over a year now. I made right at 65k my first year out of CDL school. Home every weekend.
Check with the college down there I'm sure they have the same grant if you can't get info go to the WIN job center. They have the information on it.
Don't do TDI, you will pay 5-6k and not get near enough drive time. And my uncle is an instructor at the one in Tupelo and I didn't go there if that tells you anything.
There were 3 students in my class at itawamba. If you will drive that far to TDI and can't do the college there. Come to Itawamba. I'll give you the instructors cell # and he can set you up. It's a great school
