Companies that train u to learn

I called a few companies u have me earlier this week but they want me to have my CDL learner's permit. I was scheduled to get it but the CT DMV #### down and there's no word when it's gonna reopen. As soon as it does I'm taking the test I'm more than ready. Been studying 5 months

 

Myself I'd get the license from a school not affiliated with a company. I wouldn't want a company having leverage over me.

 

All the schools shut down in my area.

 

Some states are still doing cdl permit tests online.
Some states are letting cdl schools do the permit tests.
Call companies you're interested in and ask what their policy is.

 

I know but you were talking about west texas, thats like moving to the moon lol - theres much better places than that in Tx

 

Alot of it is food related.

Some flatbedding.

And thats about the extent of my FLA experience. Its not much. WHen we deliver we generally most of the time leave there empty for one of the mills near GA or AL to reload.

 

Magnum LTD in Fargo, ND has a cdl school in house.

 

No DMVs open in NY. I can imagine no CDL road tests. I consider myself lucky to already be driving and having 3 years of driving if dairy does really take a dump I can do something else within truck driving

 

TX has specific CDL testing sites open for this very reason.
