You already know what that's all about then, so no surprises there.
You should be ok then; if you get tired of it can always do some long haul.

They try to get newbies on those Dollar store accounts because no one else will do them. Do a search here for something like "dollar store, accidents". Many have come on here saying they were fired after having accidents/incidents in those dollar store parking lots. Then no other company wants anything to do with them. You will be better off otr or maybe regional something until you get some good backing experience.

How expensive is the CPAP you’re trying to buy?? Have you tried looking outside of an insurance provider to see the actual cost of the machine. The one I use is like $250 but through insurance it was over $2k.

The Air Mini should be able to transmit to the clinical software (airview) just like the S10 does. If I remember correctly you have to opt in to allow data upload to the "cloud" in your my air app. None of the "newer" Resmed machines come with SD cards. They all use a small cellular system in the machine to upload your info automatically.

To my knowledge all but mini have the sd. Even with the cloud enough data wasn’t able to be pulled from it only records two weeks. Had many arguments with resmed about it. They told me it’s a temporary ie vaction device.

Hey Granite state. Weird story. So I am an aspiring trucker. Decided I will attend my local community college training in June...But my current day job is Durable Medical Equipment. One thing I deal with daily is Cpaps and supplies.

I can tell you at least from the company I work for (2nd largest DME in the country) that our resmed machines (resmed S10 for example) no longer come with sd cards. That includes the "latest" airsense S10. Everything is done though the onboard cellular modem. I can go back 364 days with any of my current patients and see their usage as well as create a compliance report.

For the hell of it let me try and find a pt with an airmini and see what sort of data I can pull up. Give me a few to check it out.

Edit - Thought I could pull it up from home but its blocked. Let me take a look in the morning and see what I can find out

Thanks sounds like at least you know what you’re doing.
The air mini was a 2018 version of it maybe it’s changed since then.
Currently use an air sense 10 has an sd card as well as the app.
Looked at the latest air sense while it doesn’t come with an sd it looks like it still had an sd slot. Sd more of a back up haven’t had to pull mine yet

Yes they do have an SD slot them but they are not shipping with them from resmed. Most Dr. these days would rather use people like us just "tag" them in airview so they can see your data. It also saves people from having to go somewhere to get a download all the time.

The myair app is great. As a company we find that the people who download the app are more than 85% likely to stay compliant on the machine.

This was a few years old but it might help you with your airmini reports ...

"Once patients download or update the latest “AirMini by ResMed 1.2” app, and opt in to upload data to the cloud, home medical equipment (HME) providers can view the same reports, charts, notes and therapy thresholds in AirView like they can for ResMed’s bedside Air10 devices, helping them monitor more patients in less time. HMEs can register their patients’ AirMini devices through AirView, Brightree or U-Sleep patient management platforms just as they would a ResMed Air10 bedside device."

I just added you to my notebook. I'll send you alerts when questions are asked about Cpap. We're fortunate to have you as a member. Thanks.
