I tried three times to get my DAC report and followed there procedures and sent fees in. Nothing!
I submited everthing but a sample of blood for DNA testing and might as well go to Fort Knox gold vault and expect to walk through the front door.
A ten year work history and dates is all I wanted to keep for my records and at times drivers tend to lose this information. I'm no different.
But there is not a driver I know of that can memorize a ten year work history and dates unless they only worked for one company.

I have heard through the grapevine that DAC is no longer accepting any information from Swift due to several lawsuits that included both entities. Is this true and how can I find out?

As far as the DAC report goes does not make a #### difference to me once I quit my old company after doing there one year thing they gave me a bad report because when I got issued my truck It didn't have a CD player and so I had one installed and guess what, the said I stoled the other radio, lol! In the first place the thing did not freaking work and they had no problem when I asked if i could do it and even offered to give them the one back and was told to toss it if it did not work in the first place, but anyways told the company I am working for now about it because it before it was even brought up and they thought it was funny, anyways life does not revolve around the DAC report and its way over rated and should not be used for trying to screw good hard working people of good job because I have meet some real sick idiots out on the road and they have good jobs! Poo Poo on the DAC!!!!!!!!!

with the potential for great harm that can be done to people with things like the DAC and credit reports is there no remedy in the law? If some of these jokers were sued for liable and had to pay out million dollar judgements I think that they would be very careful that their reports were factual. I think that a unfactual DAC report would make a great liable case in that not only does it falsely damage a reputation but it is malisous in that it prevents a person from making a living

My prior experience with companies before trucking have established me opinions. They have all treated me as a standard. Even though I perform the job I was hired for, because I don't go beyond, they will try to make me afraid of being fire. When I tell them them what idiocy they are trying to feed me and there is no way I'm going to buy into it, they keep telling me I'm not meeting their expectations and may be fired. I tell them I've seen that before and it's their right to do it. (Basically sticking my tongue out at them) When they do finally make up some idiocy they claim I've done wrong (holding me to standards that I've stood next to others doing the very same thing and not being questioned), because they haven't managed to get me to quit, they always say something to the affect that tehey will see I don't get unemployment,,, which I know they can't do, and I also know they can't legally say anything false that will stop me from getting another job. DAC is a whole other matter. And because of it, I've had to say and do things that aren't true just to keep the potential of getting another job.

I want to say that in my experience in life, the one thing I see that benefits people the most, is to go beyond the call of duty when it comes to your career, specifically, your job. As a matter of fact, those who apply this way of thinking in general, become more successful in many other areas of their life, not just their career.
When hired for a job, it is actually to your advantage to do more than what is required of you. You not only appear as a "star" employee, but you will learn more. You will be given more responsibility, looked up to by others, and most importantly; your self confidence and self esteem will go through the roof.
The DAC is a whole other issue. There are people who have done and lived by exactly what I have described above, and still have negative comments on their DAC. It may have been done for personal reasons, not even related to their job performance or skills and abilities. This is the serious problem with this kind of reporting. There are limited ( if any)boundries to what can be reported about you. Not only that, but it is difficult to protest these types of allegations.
This is why it is vital that we get our report on a continuous basis and know exactly what is being reported. Yes, it is difficult to change such negative remarks, but not impossible. With enough perseverence it can be done. -
But there is not a driver I know of that can memorize a ten year work history and dates unless they only worked for one company.
Simple enough problem to solve. Go to one of several on line Job sites where you are allowed to build an on line resume; ie. Monster, CareerBuilder or who ever you like...
Creating a resume there will keep an online record of your work history, and allow you access from anywhere an online connection is available. Just keep updating it as necessary. -
I've have a question?I worked for a company out of indiana but,i was local in bowling green,ky.I started out in a sleeper truck, then they moved out of that one and put me in a day cab and put somebody else in the sleeper trucker.i quit today and they told me that they would put abandonment on my dac if i don't bring the truck back.i told them they put somebody in my old truck and i could'nt bring it back and they told me it does'nt matter. Can they do that.
