Agreed with the no voice recorders too. Some people might not care but it is only used to incriminate you and to make an example of you. Some companies like DM Bowman, puts the videos up in their drivers lounge for everyone to see. How would you like it if your favorite jam comes on the radio and you're singing along with it (and we all do that); and it's now no longer just you, but carrying an audience?
Don't get aggrivated while driving too, anything you say can and will be used against you. I've seen some instances where a driver was cut off, muttered some obscenities to themselves and lost or almost lost their job because of it.
Companies used to trust their drivers, that day has long past. If a company cannot trust their drivers, then I cannot trust that company. These companies are always itching to yell, repremand, and penalize drivers for whatever reason they can find.
Sorry but, the ones who don't care are just helping these companies destroy our way of living. If we all fight against these big brother operations and find new jobs with carriers who don't have this technology, then maybe these big brother companies will get rid of it. They are all about making and saving money, well if all their drivers leave because of the samething, business will fail and they will have no choice. You can not run a trucking company without drivers.
Companies who do NOT have driver facing cameras or voice recorders.

So there is only one company listed in here so far that DOES NOT have driver cameras. So every mega carrier has driver facing cameras now or is in the process of installing them currently?

Get a small sonic gun and point at the voice recorder. They're pretty cheap, about $39.00 for a good one. Google explains them.
Subutai and born&raisedintheusa Thank this. -
