Almost every container hauler I see from Canada running the I-81 corridor is a non English speaking foreigner. So your best bet is Canada. Please have better driving etiquette and people skills than the rest of them.......

I think a bunch of drivers here have followed, or been following Iwona on YouTube, Instagram and Facebook, the really hot Polish trucking chick. She came to Canada last fall, had a 1 yr permit to work, and has been driving up there. At first she was with Prince, IIRC, it took her almost two months to get her Canadian license, as the laws had changed. She left Prince in Dec. I believe and went to work for someone else who bought her a fancy Cascadia that sadly has been in the shop all winter. She was posting some video's of running the ice roads the last couple of months, she was now heading So. to run regular loads until she has to return to Poland in the Sept.. I believe her ultimate goal is to become a Canadian citizen and truck in N. America full time.

Big Trucks pulling five trailers or ten. Dust, Sun, Kangooroos and Midnight Oil. Sounds like fun. Why leave Australia at all?

I worked with a British guy that lived and drove in Australia. He tried driving the Outback. He said there wasn't any money in it because the Aboriginals drive for peanuts.

I know JB Hunt does. When I was a dispatcher I worked at the rail yard in Chicago. There were drivers from South Africa, Poland, Ukraine, and Germany. All of them had been recruited, hired, and eventually became citizens. These guys and a couple women had been there awhile.
