Agree, Craigslist has saved many a soul.
Craigslist has a transportation section. Submit dozens of applications, make dozens of phone calls and leave dozens of phone messages. Some company will hire you.
Apply, phone, even if you think you have no chance of being hired. Another driver on this forum had 12 fender-benders & tickets and found a pretty good paying job by doing this.
Facebook also has trucking groups that may help.

Most Insurance companies allow 1 'at fault' accident. Most also require 2 years of experieince which may be the actual stumbling block with some companies.

Chinatown is right, focus on finding a job, there is one out there. Construction is still going and snowplow season is near; consider those areas and some ten wheeler time; more local/home nightly, etc.

Seabees and Army 88M program would be good way to have a time gap of the accident and to gain some service and experience.

One driver on this forum did just that. Don't remember if he went Army of Navy though.

Ok that’s a preventable and it isn’t bad at all.

    My advice is this

Make a list of all the companies that you can get and apply to them.

keep track for who responds, who you talked to and so on. This will help you with who not to apply for again.

the accident, even if it is last week doesn’t mean you can’t be hired.

it means that it will be just a pia to find a job.

Also go take a couple safe driving course, like Smith system.
