    You don't have to have slow trucks to make money, you just have to know how to set them up. I run 70 mph stop and go with my foot on the floor, gross weight between 82k-88k, always get 6+mpg.

    The idea that governed trucks save fuel IS stupid and clueless. How in the heck can ANY company save fuel with drivers dropping 3 or 4 gears for freaken hills in Iowa???

    It's about insurance plain and simple... or if the company is self insured, they get kick backs for safety ratings.

    Oh yeah, the companies love to tell us it saves fuel... If you buy that, I got some beach front property in New Mexico that I's love to sell you too!
