I got my cdl in 2012 from a college. I worked on and off for a local company running dry vans and then drove reefers with them (company had a contract with winn dixie. We hauled high priority produce loads). I have about 8 months otr experience. Due to medical problems with my mom, I decided to put my driving career on hold for a while to help her out in 2013. I am now wanting to get back into the industry. I know I will have to go with a company that offers a refresher course. My question is, what companies would be better for me. I am interested in doing just about anything, flatbed, dryvan, or reefers. What are my best options?

Where is your location?
Many companies will hire you if you're in the hiring area. -
Southern Alabama. I help a friend of mine run a ranch in southern Texas too. So I can use either of those locations as "home".

Many companies websites aren't up to date; so don't go by "experience required" and apply anyway. If they have online application, submit that then follow with a phone call.,"Hey, I applied and ready to work."
Some may put you through refresher course and some just with a trainer for a couple of trips.
