How much does it cost for insurance on a truck if your a company driver? Do company drivers have to pay for insurance on the trucks they dont own but drive for a company?

If you are a company driver and the company you are working for wants you to pay for insurance for the truck I have this word of advice, Run!!!!!! You do not pay insurance on something you do not own or are not buying or leasing !

The only insurance you would ever pay for as a company driver is an add-on to your homeowners or renters insurance because the company you drive for does not have coverage for your personal belongings in the truck. As ev1 stated, You will NEVER pay for insurance on the truck trailer or cargo as a company driver.

if you are a company driver the only insurance you should pay is health, dental and life insurance. you might want to check with your auto insurance company about a add on for your truck, it will pay if your company goes bankrupt because of the accident, the claim goes beyond your companies max coverage, it was about 12 bucks a year for that. lots of luck
