Once again someone that doesn’t understand that the 34 hour is not MANDATORY!
    It is OPTIONAL!
Use it if it benefits you, use the recap method if it doesn’t.
    Geesh....

Bean Jr., brian991219 and Long FLD Thank this.

The reset truly benefits local/regional guys who are usually off from around noon Saturday until 00:01 Monday.

Under recap we had guys running two loads a day from Bayonne to Belvidere, roughly across the state of NJ [the short way,LOL]...

An honest 12 hours per day, 5 days a week and you were two hours over your 70 on the 8th day of the rolling recap [6 x 12 = 72]

Fudge it to 11 hours and you only used 66 on your 70 and ALWAYS had 15 for Monday

With the 34 hr. reset you can work 14 hours a day, 5 days a week and ALWAYS have a full 70 on Monday...the company gets to work you more each week to their benefit. No work-arounds needed like when half of the guys only have 7 or 8 hours on Monday under the recap.

    brian991219 Thanks this.
