    MCI Express is garbage. Don't even bother. They pay only 40 cpm, and on a 1099 at that. On top of that they will deduct $50 a week for insurance deductible. And their trucks don't have navigation. And the facilities are a joke. Nowhere to park your car and mud and dust everywhere.

    I worked for them, .50 cpm now. It's still a dirt yard and unorganized, but that's worth dealing with they give you all the miles you want and home time whenever you want. And they don't hassle you or force dispatch. That $50 is towards the escrow, and there isn't navigation in the truck. They aren't the best, but I made a lot of money with them. And they have accounts leaving SoFlo, we know freight is hard to get out of here.

    Update to MIC; called them a while back, or at least tried to call them but in Medley, they never answer the phone and message box is always full. Called the Jacksonville office and waited about 7- minutes for an answer. A Spanish-speaking man answered rudely and before I could say anything he hung up. They have nice-looking equipment, but so do many good and bad companies. This is just my experience. They advertize constantly online for drivers.
