Get your year in then quit. Move on to a better company. Life is too short to put up with people's crap.

Walk into your carriers main terminal and set one of these off.

You are just getting into this business. Forget that by staying out you might make such an impression it may help you later on with your carriers operations. Just go home. Quit. Don't worry about DAC. Just make sure you have the truck returned. Back in the 70s during my time in the AF I only enjoyed one Christmas at home. During my trucking career, I had to miss some Christmas's. I was asked if I would run and I did. I do remember one year back in the late 70s I was able to get home in Jan. Guess what? My family had a yuletime party then.

Do what you want to do. However, if you stay in the OTR business long this will not be the last Christmas you will miss! You can take that to the bank!

The 2 days for every 12 is that in writing? So yet again a company promises the world only to find out that they've just suckered you in with vague promises and then wonder why they can't keep drivers hmmm i'd be looking in the forum for the section for good reports on companies to see if you can find one that is decent enough to look after your home time requests.
