Boy what ru talking about now? I’m sure you’re not trying to compare a trucking company requesting you watch a video to domestic violence? There are jobs but if your thinking there’s a company for you that’s going to give you the whole farm just because you’re you it ain’t happening.Another person stepped up took a risk and started his or her company. There not going to give away the whole farm just because you came in and asked for a job. it might come to a surprise to you but the world doesn’t revolve around you.

And yet I currently work for a company that doesn't abuse the drivers. Pays for all time I'm working, including training and doesn't expect me to do anything for the company after my shift. Again, just because you prefer to work for free, and/or can't manage to find a good company that pays you, doesn't mean everyone has that problem.

I’m guessing it’s a company that distributes 5 hr energy and not monster or redbull. So doesn’t look good if employee is seen with competitor. Just like the nascar sponsor hat dance at the end of the race.

I live on Monsters.. those 5 hr energy drinks taste like mule pee and they don't work for me..
But the day somebody thinks they can dictate what I can & can't drink job or no job they can go to H@ll on a hand cart

Kinda reminds me of an O/O we had post here a few years back. He was livid that part of his contract required him to paint his truck. He just couldn't get why Menards didn't want an orange truck delivering their goods.

I know a lot of you are old boomers who life revolves around trucking, kids grow up without you around, friends are truckers because that’s all you can talk about, and that’s all you know but that ain’t me. Trucking is just a job. It is a way to pay bills and feed my family. It is not what validates my life. After a hard battle with Covid not sure if I was going to make it, I realize even more how short life is and what’s most important. When I am not at work I don’t care about a truck. I don’t want to see a truck. I don’t think about it. I have an actual life outside of work. When I was unsure if Covid was going to take me out, a truck didn’t cross my mind once so I would never spend the little free time I have caring about something that I didn’t even think about hooked up to machines fighting to stay alive.

No, the job doesn’t deliver energy drinks or any food items. The supervisor is a delusional boomer trucker who prides himself on working for 40 years and never asking for a day off. No family, nothing to show for life, a company slave who thinks everyone should aspire to be like him. Since HE doesn’t drink Monster no one else should. Company saves money because they use him as route planner, driver manager, trainer, safety coordinator and rescue driver, getting paid trash for all of those responsibilities, phone ringing every 10 minutes 24/7 but thinks it’s something to brag about. Basically he’s like many on this forum who confuse working hard with devaluing your worth. Again, that ain’t me.

Anyway, I just told them im not doing work training at home just like I don’t do home stuff at work. I will come in, go on duty and do it. If I can’t finish the route because I spent 1.5 hours doing training videos then. oh well. Dude was pissed and I’m sure he’s tossing and turning in bed trying to find a way to make me do it at home but I dont care.

LOL, you’re an idiot. Everything you do requires you to breathe. At my worst just taking two steps had me feeling like I ran a marathon. Heavy lifting causes more physical exertion which requires more oxygen. My doctor has me limited on physical labor while undergoing oxygen therapy. I think my doctor is a lot smarter than you, so I’ll stick with her advice. Thanks though.

If you’re on oxygen therapy how did you pass your dot physical?let me help you since you don’t understand when you pick something up you shouldn’t be taking a breath you should exhale and really don’t have to run to the end of the trailer you can walk if you’re unable to walk you should be at home
