    Hey, rubberducky68...

Are you with Superior Carriers? If so, I was wondering if they hire someone who is a newbie who is fresh out of trucking school (obviously with their CDL Class-A, hazmat, and tanker endorsements), and is 21 years of age? Thanks! I am interested in working for them!

Does Superior still pay .25-hour for fueling and .25 for pre and post trips everytime you hook a trailer?

I have never gotten paid that but I haven't asked for it either. They have always paid me for whatever I put down on my time sheet no questions asked though. I have been paid for traffic back ups, waiting until day break in the snow or fog to leave over 10 hours, stopping to check in-transit heat temps and any maintenance I perform on the truck. Early on I demonstrated to my TM that I am honest. I was reimbursed on my check for a company hotel bill I turned in. I immediately took it to my TM and showed him where he paid me $200 that I wasn't entitled to. Never been questioned about anything since. I am honest about it though and don't abuse the hourly pay. I did start turning in more hours that I previously let slide when insurance went up $15 per week though.

And THIS, ladies and gentlemen, is how OVER THE ROAD should be compensated. Down time? No problem! You are paid.

If OTR companies paid me for every hour I'm away from my bed I would still be out there.

The food grade side has terminals in Lafayette and Dayton. Pay package is not as good though

    No

Right now short sleeper Pro Stars. They are testing some Kenworths on the Carry side and Macks on the SPCR side. The Macks look to have larger sleepers from the outside. I haven't looked inside one yet though.
