I've always wanted to Drive. Student right now and I've just started researching and listening to recruiters and I see there are SO many options. They all seem to say the same things and then I Google reviews and read horror stories. Any advice for a Newbie??

First, I would pick out a few companies that interests you. Second, I compare pay, benefits, equipment and home time. Also if you happen to see a driver for the company you re interested in, ask them how long they ve worked there and do they like it or not. Don t be afraid to ask recruiters a 100 questions, its your right to know and see if its worth your time applying for them. Lastly, make sure the companies you re interested in, CHECK THEIR CSA SCORES as well. That way you ll be less likely to be hassled by the DOT if the company you choose has low CSA scores

I would say to take a week or two after you have received offers and really go over the pros and cons of each company. Be firm, but professional with recruiters don't let them forget that it is their job to actually provide you with information and help you make your decision on which company is best for you.

All endorsements can be added later dont over think the process.go to school through a company sponsored school with the one yr contract to drive. One yr your free and clear then you can go anywhere.Dont buy yourself a job by taking money out of your pocket for schooling the basics are all the same all you need is the license in your hand everything you learn by experience behind the wheel.

some companies require haz mat. they do generally pay more for haz mat loads. but you dont have to have it. makes you more flexible, an asset to the company.

Too Late. I already paid and am going to a local College. it's accredited. Everyone keeps saying to start a job right after though and a lot of places offer reimbursement. Stressing
