    Chafed air lines?

That’s the card they pull out of their butts when they can’t find anything else.

Sometimes it begins with pulling a razor out of their pocket after instructing the driver to remain in the cab while they inspect.

That must’ve happened to one our drivers because they recently told us to take pictures of any alleged “defects”.

It happened to me once in IL.
Pulled in to a scale to be inspected. I was told to remain in the cab.
During part of it one officer was talking to me while the other was going around doing stuff, with a bit of time between the cab and trailer.
Then I was told to get out so they could show me the 'chaffed' lines. Both air and the electrical lines had the exact same wear pattern, nice and smooth right in the open where they would not touch a thing even if the trailer was jacked around. A very sharp knife or razor would make that wear pattern, but not rubbing against something.

I was put OOS until it was fixed, but they were really nice about it. They said I could go the the rest area a couple miles down the road and call for a repair, or I could be escorted to the Love's at the exit a mile back and have it fixed there. So now most of you know exactly which scale house I'm talking about.

    What, like this part?

"They decided to fight the ticket with a lawyers help....
Hubby paid about $400 in lawyers fee..."

They (his company, presumably) decided to fight the ticket, but the driver then pays for the lawyer?

Actually what does not make sense is actually stopping the truck and getting out to take a pee, while in line at a weigh station.

If it were me in that situation...
Because there are frequent stop and goes in that situation, during one short stop I would have set my brakes and jumped to the back to grab a pee bottle.
Get back in the seat and moved forward with the line. Use the pee bottle as needed during the pauses.

He drew glaring attention to himself by actually stopping and getting out of the truck. Not very bright.

You have been on this forum for what, 10 years or so?
Always about hubby and his problems.
You once said I was rude to you, so I'll do it again... TROLL!
