I think you got it, Joseph, "maintenance is down and cheaper." All corporations have goals, and the #1 for all corporations is profit. NET profit. Anything that increases the bottom line will happen, period. In fact, I'm that way myself, although I am a human being, not a corporate human being. That means I actually have some remaining moral standards. Auto tranny is fine. Cutting rates or stealing drivers? Not so much.
