ok great...thanx for the heads up, i will def. chek them out. Yea whatever company i go with it seems flatbed is the way to go being it seems there is more money in it. Is this correct or am i missing something?
-
IB03 There is more money in Flat bedding but that is limited, If you go reefer then you can haul almost any kind of freight in a van, Tarping and such isn't for me, put it in secure it in and down the road I want to go. Take Care. TD.

You learn flat bed securement and you can pull any box. You start in a box and do that a few years and decide to skate. Guess what? You just went back in time to being a trainee ridding along with a trainer. Sure flats have down sides, but so do boxes. Want to work out your mind and body at the same time. Flats does that. You have to think how to place and secure as well as man handle the equipment.
Flat does pay more, because it is more physical and demanding on your brain and body.
Another thing. Flatbedders tend to stick together more and watch out for each other, plus help each other. Most van drivers you won't see that. -
Yea, I was an ironworker in chicago until recent lay-off and talked to a couple of the truk drivers bringing our steel in and they said they love their jobs. I definitly want a job to keep in shape and busy...although i dont think i will ever have to worry about getting fat lol, waaaay to fast of a metabilisom for that...but i just font wanna become a lazy person.

Oh and by the way I called CCX in Gary, Indiana and asked them if they were hiring/prehiring students, and the lady that answered the phone said they are and to just fill out an app via their website, just in case anyone else was wondering.
