Con-way Truck Load Finishers

    I think school reimbursement was only if you get your cdl at crowder, or there is another approved school in the Detroit area now. The reimbursement is all but $1,000 if memory serves...sometimes it doesn't.

    The dorms were in College dorms in fall of 2010, not barracks. Don't know if that has changed.

    For the guy that it is a deal breaker, just do the math. If you can't go to Crowder for whatever reason, there are companies that will pay your tuition back, Werner and Schneider comes to mind, but it will take over 18 months. Go to a Con-way orientation and see how many newbies are coming from Werner and those other companies that were still making under .30 per mile after a year! If you do the math, it may be better paying for your own school and coming to Con-way as quick as you can.

    I did the same math you are doing, it was a couple of years ago, and Con-Way won by a mile.
