    They have Conway freight in Hawaii but I work for Conway truckload in the mainland. I commute to the mainland to work for there is no work in Hawaii. Sad to say if your skin color is too white nobody will hire you.

    OOPS! I have a friend that is researching moving there. He does maintenance for rental storage companies. Evidently they have to bring people in from the mainland to do the work.

    I really wish him good luck on that. Being the unions have a really strong hold on the state just advise him to prepair for the harassment.
    The unions here really suck and the state is not a right to work state either. And if he does allow the unions in if the workers are caucasion there will be more harassment for there is a lot of racism in majority of the unions.

    Next year Con-Way is turning their trucks down to 63MPH. They also hope to have all their drivers on E-logs by May. Just a heads up on anybody thinking to come to Con-Way.

    63? What do they base their average trip speeds on?

    at crst the trucks are governed at 64. they base all trips on 50mph transit time.

    i was thinking about trying for conway after my contract is up with crst.
    anyone know what they require to haul the doubles? is it a dedicated route just terminal to terminal? any info would be great as im really wanting something not OTR as i need to be home with my family. email me at mattbnr@gmail.com if u have any info at all. thanks.

    Before when it was CFI it was based on 50 MPH. But now to be honest I don't know. I know it's a faster speed now for I had too many hurryup and get there loads.

    {but I like to "save a lot"of miles for somwhere else!"}
    Is it all forced disptch?
