Going down 71 to 44 to 69 is a little shorter. All the stop n go on 69 will equal it out to be the same either way you go.

With my free time, I opened my batt box. I've got 4, not 3 batts. They should run a small house. And they are not that old, stickers say 9/13. But guess what, loose terminals! But you say that should not affect low current draw like the fridg and bunk heater and you would be right. However, during high current draw it will have a devastating effect on the batt, killing it. Having a weak batt in parallel with good batts drains them all. Like I said before, we are entering non spite idle season so it should be fine all summer but next fall during the first cold snap I bet I'm calling for a jump!

You can go buy the A/C -DC inverter ....most truckstops carry it for $25 or so

Then pull it into your inverter .... That is the proper way to keep your milk cold and kill a set of so-so batteries !

Yeah you plug your DC plug into the AC inverter then drain away .... Just make sure to start your truck after 7 hrs ....or you be waiting for a jump

also that gets you some TA / Petro points and a free shower !

Sigh cut the day short (9 hr 50 minutes od)

Avg 63.2 mph for total trip

Not too shabby considering snowqualmie weekend fisherman on 200 then easter Minneapolis headed home traffic.

630 out gotta be there on the 23rd gonna sleep in and overnight it close. Might get lucky .

When I go to Laredo I always take the way through Atlanta Henderson hearne Palestine Tyler etc..
Aim for tx-21 as the pop out point then 35 it down through San Antonio maybe take the air force base way over to triple pts.

    Avoid Dallas temple & Austin.

    Yup yup.

    Got 10hr 50 on 70.

Gotta get back on night routine. None of that reset crap. Nope. Ain't happenin.
