Got preplan while waiting to get unloaded today, dh to Watkins Glen,NY to Garysburg,NC, picked up at Cargill Salt going to Lowes, CVS Dist cost us (not really) 378.50 lumper fee, how does that work actually, does that money go to CVS and then they pay the lumper $10-12 ahr or does the lumper get it all ? If anyone every goes there be prepared to wait, took 5 hrs to unload us drove an hr to get to next shipper 1st come 1st serve type of place (on the lake), when we got there, there was 6 trucks in front of us but it went pretty quick, total time there 2 1/2 hrs includes waiting and loading time, when we left there was 11 trucks lined up around the building (3 docks)

 

Well ladeeda Mr. 2,000,000 mile club doesn't like me following him! I was bobtailing from LA to Calexico and another Con-Way bobtail passed me, so i followed him. Was behind him for about 60 miles until he pulled onto the shoulder. Thing is, I go slow if I'm not following someone. So he passes me again and I start following him again, until were ½ mile from the truck stop. Its right on the other side of the overpass and he whips onto the interstate. Okay, see ya! 15 minutes later he comes pulling into the truck stop. Long detour to prove a point huh? He put his shade up and went inside, so I went and parked right next to him. Lol I hope he gets pissed off.

 

9 hrs drive time even.
585 miles.

30 min @ west Monroe.

....that's more like it....

Can ops be cleaned out?

I recommend replacing the dispatch area in Lancaster with a driver only jacuzi.

I would feel more motivated and a safer driver with a jacuzzi.

That jacuzzi would also be more productive.

went ahead and highlighted for FL ...

 

Stayed at "on the runn Exxon" I81 exit 128 in VA. They had a ton of parking in back when I pulled in at 2100. It did fill up later. Subway for dinner. Big, clean $5 shower. Good place to stop!
pi found it with the AllStays app on my ipad but its in the parking guide sold on the shuttle too.

 

Scored another brand new trl with side skirts and a 5400 lb load to Memphis TN

only problem is the winds out of the southwest blowing 20+ mph ...

 

I love a god tail wind! You think you'd have a 50/50 chance of either but headwinds seem to out number tail wind 2-1.
