Laredo tonight...last couple of weeks pretty good 3800 and 2300 all on re-capp hours...planners are doing pretty good by me these days...knock on wood. Usually after a 3800 mile week I get about 1900 or 2000. No complaints.

And last week I removed my down comforter & winter clothing from the truck so I could greyhound without the bulk...

Sitting in rig, signed back on the board. Cooler packed, cloths put away. I know I can live call ops to go back on the board and stay at the house but then how do you know when they send you a plan?
Spanish Grand Prix was great yesterday! I won't say who won in case anyone has it Tivoed. It wasn't a nail biter but there were some good battles! Monaco in 2 weeks!

    1) Call option 5 & check board status
    2) http://www.con-way.com/en/truckload/DriverBoard (your # goes to 0 when assigned a load)
    3) Sit in truck and wait.

Unfortunately, only option 3 will actively notify you. 1 & 2 require constant checking on your part. And quite often you'll be assigned a load picking up NOW despite having been on the board for hours.

That Colorado permit message summed it up nicely at the end. "WE are YOUR support team." I think opps needs that hanging on the front of Con-Way HQ on a 50 foot sign in neon letters.
