Con-Way Truckload Drivers: What's Your 20? (2014 edition)

Hello my Conway people's hope all is well. Things going alright for me. Got new job and been running pretty hard. This company lives and dies off preplan. No driver board system. Always preplan and mostly drop and hook. They said driver board is not good for drivers or a well run business. They base it off ETA and PTA here.

Ate a bowl of 5 day old chili.
30 minutes later walk back in and make two grilled cheese.

Woman stares at me.

Cuts one sandwich in half eats the remainder.

Best grilled cheese shes ever had.

Kiss the cook ('s butt) that was muh sandwich...

Need to get out ta here been here two weeks over the past two months. Took 20 days off entire last year. Driving...me.....nuts..... xD

Biggs Junction OR pilot. Dinner at McDonald's. yuck... Good shake though! Single digit recap... Easy to find parking at 3 pm! 2 hrs away from stop 2, stop 3 is only about 5 miles from there. I need a reset!

 

Jublitz in Portland. Taking paper to Olympia. 140 miles. Hard to complain when I had a 4400 mile week last week. Ok I'll complain anyway! Lol!

took an extra day off to go to my nieces Kindergarten graduation party

 

Froday, its either a bad hair day, or a day in the Lord of The Rings.

 

Tried the black cherry drink @ taco bell.

Not impressed.

No flavour tasted like air.

Ever see a tropicalsno pull in and get ya a black cherry red raspberry blue raspberry. Be better off.

I think one would do excellent in Laredo.


No truck progress.

Good paying job pulling cattle and grain in the paper. Just can't take the cows to their death would take them open the door and yell ruuuuunnnnnn!!!!

Out of respect for your guys' thread, I do my best to take my posts elsewhere.
But oh, so tempted to gloat? Hey, even the Prince of Peace was tempted.
We're all kindred spirits in the previously worked for Conway experience.
What's all this about learning from our mistakes?
I hoped, then I believed, then I realized, then.... well, sometimes a little courage mixed in with a lot of frustration can work wonders for ones' well being.
