Hello my Conway people's hope all is well. Things going alright for me. Got new job and been running pretty hard. This company lives and dies off preplan. No driver board system. Always preplan and mostly drop and hook. They said driver board is not good for drivers or a well run business. They base it off ETA and PTA here.

Biggs Junction OR pilot. Dinner at McDonald's. yuck... Good shake though! Single digit recap... Easy to find parking at 3 pm! 2 hrs away from stop 2, stop 3 is only about 5 miles from there. I need a reset!

Jublitz in Portland. Taking paper to Olympia. 140 miles. Hard to complain when I had a 4400 mile week last week. Ok I'll complain anyway! Lol!

Tried the black cherry drink @ taco bell.
Not impressed.
No flavour tasted like air.
Ever see a tropicalsno pull in and get ya a black cherry red raspberry blue raspberry. Be better off.
I think one would do excellent in Laredo.
No truck progress.

A/C went out a couple days ago (despite a recent week-long stay at the dealership for no A/C). So I got to spend last night sweating in places I didn't know had sweat glands only to be woken when it was finally cool to back into a helacious dock.
Once empty hours later, I had the pleasure of sweeping strands of fiberglass insulation from the trailer. Hot trailer, sweaty skin, and loose strands of a substance also used to make itching powder -- what's not to like?
Then I get to the freight yard to pick up my relay and find that some limpdick ignored the gaurd & myriad of signs and dropped the fully loaded trailer not on the concrete pad, but on sun-softened asphalt. Not only that, but they hadn't even lowered the landing gear all the way before squirting out. Hot sun, sweat in my eyes, tenacious strands of fiberglass, & landing gear that hasn't seen grease in years. What could make this day better? How about tandems stuck in an illegal hole? oh yes, & me with no tools...
Was looking forward to a cool night's sleep in LA, but i10 has been closed all day due to a truck vs tour bus multi-fatality. So it'll be another warm evening. But I guess my day could have been worse...
Turn in the truck tomorrow. So far no inklings of a 2nd thought...NotTheAverageTrucker Thanks this. -
Out of respect for your guys' thread, I do my best to take my posts elsewhere.
But oh, so tempted to gloat? Hey, even the Prince of Peace was tempted.
We're all kindred spirits in the previously worked for Conway experience.
What's all this about learning from our mistakes?
I hoped, then I believed, then I realized, then.... well, sometimes a little courage mixed in with a lot of frustration can work wonders for ones' well being.
Be well!
