Con-Way Truckload Drivers: What's Your 20? (2014 edition)

Instructions said there is overnight parking in Ada MI... Not till 2300 Sunday night. So, here I am at the giant mom and pop truck stop south of Grand Rapids. I wonder how much pilot/ta has offered these guy to buy them out.

there was a Walmart closer but intel I had said no overnight parking by city ordinance. I prefer to get a shower so it all works out.

 

Dropped load in Winchester VA ...

picking up here in AM going to Waco TX ...1364 mi

 

Lucked out not going to Lancaster and just delivering it.

Yay! Get to keep the clean trailer for now....

Place is 8 miles down the road delivers in 8 hrs from now.

Think I'll edit in an off duty drive to screw up my next load if it sucks.

Could be a good week if they don't send you out 100 mile, then you have to go back because its one of their trailers and not one of ours....good luck!

This load was supposed to be a live load with a drop/hook delivery. Well, it was a drop/hook pick up and here I sit on the dock unloading in Ada,MI. Next is a DH to Battle CR then down to Lebanon TN.

 

La Crosse getting unloaded then 28 miles to pick up.......hope it really isn't 1900 by appt. Lol.
You know I'm more rested right now than I've been in a bit! Working part time has allowed me to take mid day naps......lol I wake up happy then remember why to just get mad....followed by more sleep to bypass the anger....WOW. LOL, hopefully its time to start moving hard and fast again. This holiday block has sucked. It always gets better so.........
