Load to Houston got took by another driver already.so snagged another they had ready offered and told dispatch after I was half way to the consignee.

It took most of yesterday but finally got towed from Baytowm TA to Houston Dealership. It gonna be a little while!

No mega bus for me, Greyhound earned a life time ban from me in 1988!

 

Well after being in Joplin 9 days trying to get my truck ready to go I finally have a load. Picking up at 16:30 at Rock Ten and heading to Springville, Utah. My 99 Volvo will get its 1st real test I guess. Keeping my fingers crossed!

 

Those Indians are kinda aholes @ the days inn in Houston they shuttle to.

Least you got a grocery store and a DQ nearby.

I reconnoitered the area but missed the DQ. The staff has been pleasant but the sure don't mind saying "no". "Can I get a ride to the dealer in the afternoon to pick up laundry?"... "No". "Shuttle to any restaurants?" "No". I'm not tied to this hotel. Any others anyone would suggest?
