So "grueling" 6 hrs to hand unload the truck that I could a got done in 2.

    ....what's the reward?

    Waco.

So glad I'm unmotivated right now.

Would Be yelling at some corporates. (Tomorrow)

But meh. Just sit and idle listen to the reds.

Prob gonna be a 5.6 this month.
No Canada time ethier so no long runs... Bummed out.

Pine bluff ar big red travel plaza.

Got a MCD a taco bell mazio.

Def better than a sardine packed big chain.

If anyone needs me I'll be in the MCD getting belly aches from excessive loitering and refills sucking up the WiFi on YouTube.

    Cat videos....volume....turned up!

I think they changed it to ~$20/hour last summer. Tires, linens, furniture, and beer packaging are some of the driver unload/assists that I remember -- none took more than 3 hours (tailgating a truckload of "no you can't throw them" pillows took the longest)

Dropped off raw material at flooring factory. Short dead head over to Lafayette. Missed the turn in the DC. Drat! 20 miles of GA's finest blacktop to get turned around. Got hooked up and tag light is burned out. That's ok, DOT inspection is overdue. Been at Cartersville TA for about3 hours before it gets called into the bay. Not making Jacksonville tonight.

it is with great sadness to let you all know this is my last load. As you may remember the plan was for my wife and I to team. Well, it's not working out that way. I was ready to do this for a few years at team pay rates but I'm afraid it's not for me at solo rates. I gues Joe and I have that in common. Where we differ is, I won't denigrate anyone who chooses to drive OTR for con-way or anyone else. As a matter of fact, my FM and I had a long talk about it. I did enjoy the work and she and I got along great. If I had some crappy loads, she got me something good. Pay was pretty stable and if I asked for something, I got it. Breakdowns suck, but you can't control that. If I was a young, unattached man just starting out, this is a good paycheck with some serious potential. Folks who cry about first year pay earn no sympathy from me.

so, what's next? I don't know. I'm gonna take some time off and finish my commercial pilots license. It wil be good for towing banners down the beach at 10 bucks an hour so just weekend fun that I'll get paid for. Airplane mechanics are always in need. So are Walmart greeters.

Well inspection is almost done, gotta get south of Atlanta tonight! Don't say good bye, I'm sure you haven't heard the last from me yet!
