Smooth sailing up 67 and wide open 412.

Lookin good to make the house tonight.

Gonna see if Luke will help me out and kick the crossing so I can get my req 24hr there.

If not it'll just be Dave's earlier and a pee test.

I got this truck on Thursday in Upper Sandusky, Ohio. The original truck I was supposed to get, well, it wasn't there, so, I got the only Peterbilt they had there. The first load picked up on Friday, I got to shipper that evening on Thursday at 1830 hours in Whitehouse, Ohio, and my appointment time was 1000 hours on Friday. I sent my loaded call at 0717 hours on Friday, which was well before my appointment time. I delivered 1.5 hours before my appointment time. My empty call was sent 2037 hours in Milton, New York. Number 1 on the board in upstate New York. Need a big run.

I am at the Pilot in Newburg, New York. There's a Swift truck across from me has lost his grill. It's literally leaning up against the truck. Can we post pictures on here? It won't let me upload the picture. :biggrin_25520:

Lowgear.......talking to ops usually works when when you can line up how you did "everything" right. Probably in this situation they will just irritate you more with excuses. (Unfortunately) Sounds like you have your ish together, so I'm sure it can only go up from here. Not that you don't already know, but hey at least your staged for one heck of a makeup wk! I would be on the phone at least trying to make that happen for next wk. You'll be fine.

BTW, I agree with ALMOST everything Double Yellow posts. However i m pretty sure 2800-3200 is a fair expectation for miles if you work with you fm. If that doesn't work for you you can always try circumventing them by delivering on nights/weekends. It worked for me when I was in "bad" lanes and when my FM was on vacay. (Just a thought) Nights/weekends seem to bend the rules a little easier with allowing bobtails to load or longer dh's.

Also, don't be afraid to speak up about your FM. It never hurts to mention how "great" they seem but how your style and theirs just don't seem to mix well.....nicer approach to "get me the EFF off this fleet."

Personally I think you need to give them at least one solid week to move you into a better lane before making that call though....just my opinion.

Lastly, Double Yellow is 100% right about that USELESS special information on the CX page. I might even say that its wrong MORE than 70% of the time. It seems like that info is probably there from the 1 driver that pissed the CX off. I've had the "do not call, no parking, no early arrival, we will be fined" customers welcome me early, let me park and unload me 24 hrs ahead of schedule countless times. I've even had live unload only stops that asked me if I wanted to just drop and take an empty. (Coca cola, international) Its all on your approach with that dock guy/hi lo driver/supervisor etc.
