Picking up in Tolleson, AZ in the am, going to El Paso..... Same opinion of El Paso here. No bueno. I hope they give me something quick out of there. Just brought a load here from there. Now back again.

 

I could actually see the Conway yard from my last pickup by that school was like CYA!!! I have room for two more pallets ...if they double stack them...and only 3 more stops to go on this load.

Knocked out the first load and 5 pickups
Long construction filled Spanish day.

Ran out of 14 just past midland.

Suicidal tendencies has like a 20 minute song its still going. Too lazy to get up and change the channel

The name hammer lane has been changed to "All Others", The name of the Granny lane has changed to Con-Way. Hope they gave you something good to make up for Brooklyn.

Yea I'm hoping I get a good solid run out of here. This is my actual first time in Brooklyn itself hit the island before but this close to the city is crazy lol. Honestly this was easier than Conways PA backroadin pickup and dels .

 

I got nothing bad to say about Conway in general other than it felt like they are moving away from OTR and into a more regional outfit for solo drivers. The lack of miles on the solo side was a common problem I had there. One week 1600 next week 2000 than maybe a 3000+ mile week. Now, I haven't been at this company long enough to give then a solid grade but I can say I've already been coast to coast and yet to have a run under 600 miles. Plus, refrigerators in all trucks, leather seats, inverters and automatic transmission(thought I would hate it but it actually grew on me).

 

What company u hauling for?

 

Abilene Motor Express Richmond, VA 300 trucks Volvo 780s KW 680s Macks and Freightliner Cascadia. Family owned and operated. Northeast pay is 10cent more a mile but instead of VA up its Maryland up.
