Just spoke with the shop and they said they have no clue abt these trucks because they are too new,so it looks like we'll have to give up the load and wait till morning and talk to truck assignment

Cpap shouldn't draw that much from the batteries -- easily get 8 hours. If you've got other stuff plugged in, the opti-idle (or parksmart or whatever they're calling it) should start the truck as necessary to keep the batteries charged

True but it sounds probably stupid but right now in this heat and not being able to idle at all is rough

I guess opti-idle was the old system, Parksmart is the new one and sounds like an electric A/C:
With both it and the cpap sucking down batteries I could see where you'd have a problem if it doesn't automatically start the engine to recharge...Last edited by a moderator: May 9, 2015

It has the idle thing where you set the temp and then when it reach that it will shut off and then when it get high it will turn back on, its to make sure the temp in the cab stays comfortable which is great if you dont have a CPAP, everytime that trucks stops and turns back on its going to surge the CPAP machine and wake you up.
